Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 26, 2026
King Stud Contracting respects your privacy. We collect the minimum information needed to respond to your project inquiries and we don't sell, rent, or trade it. Ever.
Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to King Stud Contracting (referred to as "KSC," "we," "our," or "us") and the website at kingstudcontracting.com. KSC is a California-licensed general contractor (CA CSLB #1002626) and Arizona-licensed contractor (AZ ROC #352200) operating King Stud Contracting AZ Inc.
What we collect
We only collect personal information you voluntarily provide. That includes:
- Contact form submissions: name, company, email, phone, project type, target market, and any project details you share.
- Calendly bookings: name, email, phone (if provided), and answers to intake questions. Calendly's own privacy policy governs that data — see calendly.com/privacy.
- Trade Partner / Careers applications: the qualifying information you submit through those forms (insurance carriers, license numbers, work history, references, etc.).
- Basic site analytics: page views, device/browser type, and approximate geographic region. We do not track you across other websites.
How we use it
- To respond to your project inquiry, qualification request, or job application.
- To schedule and conduct calls or site visits with you.
- To send you a follow-up about your inquiry — never marketing emails unless you opt in.
- To improve the website (anonymized analytics only).
- To comply with legal obligations (e.g., contractor record-keeping, tax records, lien notices).
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information.
- We do not add you to any marketing list without explicit opt-in.
- We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or AI training partners.
- We do not display your contact information publicly without your written permission.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers needed to operate the website and respond to you:
- Netlify — hosting + form processing (privacy policy)
- Calendly — scheduling (privacy policy)
- Google Workspace — email + spreadsheet logging of inquiries (privacy policy)
- Trusted KSC team members and project consultants involved in reviewing your inquiry. They are bound by the same confidentiality standards.
- Legal authorities, when required by law (subpoena, court order, lien filings).
Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of essential cookies (form spam protection, session continuity) and basic privacy-friendly analytics provided by Netlify. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking. If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly sets its own cookies — see their policy linked above.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you.
- Access or receive a copy of that information.
- Delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements for completed projects).
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Opt out of any future "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — though, as noted, we do not sell or share your information.
- Non-discrimination — we won't penalize you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, submit a request through the contact form with the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days.
Data retention
We retain inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up — typically 24 months. Project and contract records are retained for a minimum of 4 years per California contractor licensing requirements. Trade partner and employee records are retained per California labor and tax record-keeping laws.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, encrypted form processing, two-factor authentication on email and storage accounts) to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we use reasonable measures to minimize risk.
Children
The KSC website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve or as legally required. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage or via email if we have your address.
Contact us about privacy
Privacy questions or requests should be submitted through our contact form with the subject line "Privacy Request." We do not publish a direct email address to reduce spam; the form goes directly to KSC leadership.
